The Ground Floor

The Hall and Stairs

The flooring throughout the villa is marble and the stairs up to both floors are wide and safe. The hard and slippery nature of the floors mean caution is needed with young children. The stairwell has a banister all the way to the top. All house areas are well lit and the entrance hallway has a light sensitive outside light.

The Lounge/Dining Room

The comfortable lounge seats 8 comfortably for dining and relaxing in air-conditioned or centrally heated comfort. The covered terrace provides sheltered and well lit space for outside dining and taking in the view. SKY TV, a DVD and music centre are fitted and ADSL internet access is included. There is a VDU screen and keyboard but no PC. A PS2 console with games is available. There is also a supply of board games and books for all ages in the house and a pool table on the terrace. The house has a landline phone for incoming calls.

The Kitchen

The well equipped, contemporary kitchen has a breakfast seating area and TV. The kitchen is “home from home” well equipped for celebrating or informal dining. There is an electric cooker & hob, microwave, dishwasher and 2 larder fridges plus good storage for food and drinks. A deep freeze, washing machine and tumble drier are located in a utility room and drying area accessed through the kitchen. There is a supply of general utensils and cookware for those who choose to cater at home. The Weber BBQ, new in 2006, is located on the terrace.

Bedroom 4

On the ground floor, with level access, is the 4th bedroom. It has an en-suite shower room and toilet. A cool room with a garden outlook, it has no terrace access. The 150cm Toledo bedstead (double, 5ft) is situated under a ceiling fan. The air conditioned room has a calm, airy feel of quiet seclusion away from the main bedrooms.
